Optional Coverages
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is Optional except for drivers between the ages of 21 and 25 it is Mandatory
Customer is liable for full value of the Avis vehicle if Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is not taken. Purchase of CDW reduces liability to an amount between 500.00 USD and 3500.00 USD, depending a car group rented in the event of an accident, fire, or vandalism to the Avis vehicle.
Theft Protection (TP) is Optional
Customer is liable for the full value of the Avis vehicle if Theft Protection (TP) is not taken. Purchase of TP reduces liability to an amount between 500.00 USD and 3500.00 USD, depending a car group rented for theft of parts or all of the Avis vehicle.
Note: If you require additional insurance coverage you may purchase locally to reduce/remove the insurance excess. Just ask at the Avis rental desk when you collect your car.

Credit Card Policies
Credit cards must display the renters name, if renter presents nameless card, he must provide a bank certificate which confirm the cardholder.
Avis accepts Avis Charge Cards, American Express, MasterCard and Visa.
Car groups J, N, P : Require two Avis-honored charge cards
Additional Charge Card Hold:
Depending on car group rented the charge card hold will be the estimated amount of the rental plus a security deposit of between 500.00 USD to 2000.00 USD.

Debit cards are not accepted.
Drivers License
A valid driving license from the renters country of residence and passport must be presented in person at the time of rental. This license must have been held for at least one year prior to the rental pick-up date. Ukrainian citizen must have internal Ukrainian Passport. If a customer is not a citizen of Ukraine, he/she must provide a foreign passport with a stamp for crossing the border with Ukraine. Additionally, all driving licenses must be accompanied by a valid International Driving Permit (IDP). All forms of documentation must be issued to the same person, in the same name, and presented together at the time of rental.
Public Liability and Property Damage
Public liability insurance is in accordance with the insurance laws of the country. Customer may inquire at the time of rental for additional information of the benefits, conditions and acceptance.
Note: Some credit cards provide insurance coverage, with certain limitations, as a benefit of using the card to rent vehicles. The customer is advised to contact the card issuer before the rental. Any waiver must be discussed directly with the location upon arrival.
Age Requirements
At this location the minimum age to rent is 21 years for car groups A, B C, D, E, H, O and 25 years for all other car groups.
At time of rental, we will automatically apply an additional $30.00 per rental underage surcharge for drivers ages 21-25.
