La succursale n'autorise pas que les véhicules soient déposés pendant les heures de fermeture si elle ne dispose pas de boîte réservée aux clés. Les clients ne devraient jamais verrouiller la voiture avec les clés à l'intérieur. Le client devra payer les frais encourus pour le déverrouillage de la voiture par un serrurier.

Optional Coverages

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is mandatory

Reduces the customer's liability to an amount ranging from EUR 800 to EUR 1600, depending on the car group rented, in the event of an accident.

Theft Protection (TP)is mandatory

Reduces the customer's liability to an amount ranging from EUR 800 to EUR 1600, depending on the car group rented, in the event of theft. 

Note: If you require additional insurance coverage you may purchase locally to reduce/remove the insurance excess.  Just ask at the Avis rental desk when you collect your car.

Global insurance coverages are always subject to change. Please verify at time of rental.

Avis Reunion Island accepts Avis Charge Cards, American Express, MasterCard / Eurocard, Visa.

Debit Card Policies

Debit cards are not accepted.

Drivers License

All drivers must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driving license and have been issued for at least 1 year.
A driving license issued by a Member State of the European Economic Area (Member States of the European Union, and Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway) is valid in Metropolitan France and Reunion. Holders of a permit issued by a State outside the European Economic Area must present a permit with photograph, written in French or accompanied by an official translation.

An international driving license must be accompanied by a national license. Holding a "blank" or restricted license does not entitle you to rent a vehicle.
You declare on the honor of the validity of your driving license, in particular not to be subject to a measure of suspension, restriction or cancellation of the driving license.

Public Liability and Property Damage

Public liability insurance is in accordance with the insurance laws of the country.  Customer may inquire at the time of rental for additional information of the benefits, conditions and acceptance.

Note: Some credit cards provide insurance coverage, with certain limitations, as a benefit of using the card to rent vehicles.  The customer is advised to contact the card issuer before the rental.  Any waiver must be discussed directly with the location upon arrival.

Age Requirements

At this location the minimum age is 21 for all car groups, except for the following: minimum age is 23 for car groups D (Standard), O and N (Mini Vans).
