Drop Box Available: If the customer chooses to leave the vehicle, the customer is responsible for the vehicle & all charges (including any damages or theft of the vehicle may have incurred during after hours) until the contract can be closed on the following business day.
Drop Box NOT Available: If the location does not have a key drop box, the location does not permit vehicles to be left after closing hours. The customer should never lock or leave the keys inside the car. The customer is responsible for the vehicle & all charges (including any damages to or theft of the vehicle and locksmith fees if they choose to lock the keys in the car). The customer can either choose to return the car the next day the location is open OR change the Drop Off Location to the nearest Regional Airport. Optional Coverages
Damage Waiver
In most cases, Damage Waiver is provided with the vehicle as standard. If it is included, it will be stated on your Rental Agreement Form (and in your booking confirmation).
Damage Waiver reduces the amount you pay for each clearly separate incident of damage if the vehicle is damaged (or the amount you pay to replace any keys, accessories or vehicle documents that are lost, stolen or damaged).
The amount you pay for each clearly separate incident of damage will be the lower of a) the applicable cost payable under the Theft, Loss, and Damages Policy; or b) the excess stated on your Rental Agreement Form.
Included as standard
Super Damage Waiver (SCDW)
An excess reduction product which reduces your damage waiver excess to zero (or, if higher, the amount shown on your Rental Agreement Form).

Theft Protection waiver (TP)
In most cases, Theft Protection waiver is provided with the vehicle as standard. If it is included, it will be stated on your Rental Agreement Form (and in your booking confirmation).
Theft Protection waiver reduces the amount you pay if the vehicle is stolen during the rental period.
The amount you pay will be the lower of a) the applicable cost payable under the Theft, Loss, and Damages Policy; or b) the excess stated on your Rental Agreement Form.

Pre-authorization and Security Deposits
Unless confirmed otherwise, the amount of the pre-authorisation taken on pick-up varies between MAD 16 500.00 and MAD 40 000.00 depending on the car group rented.
These amounts are included as part of the pre-authorisation in case we have to charge you at the end of the rental for any of the following:
i. costs to refuel the vehicle (where relevant).
ii. additional rental charges in circumstances where you fail to return the vehicle or any optional extras at the end of the agreed rental period or to the agreed return location.
iii. any additional charges or fines you incur relating to your use of the vehicle (which we have been notified of prior to you returning the vehicle, which will include, for example, charges relating to traffic violations); and/or
iv. costs incurred as a result of exceeding any relevant mileage restrictions.
Where the pre-authorisation we take does not cover the charges you incur, we will request you make a further payment for the additional amounts owed.

Debit Card Policies
Debit cards are not accepted.
Drivers License
At the time of rental, the driver must present a valid driver's license in the driver's name from their country of residence. Customers presenting a driver's license in a non-Roman alphabet must also present an International Driving Permit (IDP) to serve as a translation in addition to their valid drivers license.
Public Liability and Property Damage
Public liability insurance is in accordance with the insurance laws of the country. Customer may inquire at the time of rental for additional information of the benefits, conditions and acceptance.
Note: Some credit cards provide insurance coverage, with certain limitations, as a benefit of using the card to rent vehicles. The customer is advised to contact the card issuer before the rental. Any waiver must be discussed directly with the location upon arrival.
After Hours Information
Some rental locations offer a service to collect the vehicle and optional additional services, products, and equipment outside of normal business hours.
We charge a fee of MAD 400.00 per rental.
Please provide at least 24 hours' notice and contact the Reservations Center or Call Center to check availability and make arrangements.
Age Requirements
The primary renter and any Additional driver must be at least 25 years old.

Collecting and Returning Your Vehicle
If you fail to pick up your vehicle within 2 hours the reservation date and time shown in your booking, and without any prior notice, we can no longer guarantee the availability of the vehicle.
If you want to extend the rental or wish to return the vehicle to a different location please contact us as soon as possible. At the latest, this should be before the end date and time on your rental agreement. You will be advised whether the change is possible and any additional costs when you call.
If you extend your rental you will be charged the prevailing pay at location prices for the extra days.
If you return the vehicle to a different location then you agreed to at time of rental your rate could default to a different rate and a one way fee will be applied.
The driver remains fully responsible for the vehicle until it is actually returned to Avis and its condition has been checked. The lessor disclaims all liability for costs that may be incurred following damage and/or loss of documents and/or accessories in the vehicle observed in the absence of the Customer.
Fuel Policy
The vehicle will be supplied with a full tank of fuel. You must return it to us with a full tank. We recommend you fill up as close to the return location as you can on the return date and keep the receipt to show us. If you don't return the vehicle with a full tank - and you can't show us a receipt for fuel - we will charge you at the price of 21 MAD per litre plus the cost of refuelling the car for you of 500 MAD.
You can choose the Fuel Up Front option. With this option you pay for a full tank of fuel for 18 MAD per litre. Then you just return the vehicle with whatever's left in the tank (even if it's virtually empty) so long as the engine still runs.
One Way Rentals
If you want to pick up the vehicle and return it to a different location, an additional fee will be payable.
If you asked for a one-way rental when you booked, the fee will be included in your total rental price.
If you didn't ask for a one-way rental when you booked and you want to return the vehicle to a different location in the same country, you can expect pay an additional fee of between MAD 180.00 and MAD 2000.00
Drop offs at a different location must be agreed with us in advance. Please contact us if you would like to understand what additional fee will apply to a one-way rental in circumstances where it didn't form part of your original rental agreement.
If you did not request a one-way rental but return the vehicle to a different location, you will be charged a one-way fee at the 'pay at location' prices available on the day you return the vehicle.
