For rentals starting on or after June 1, 2023, Aeroplan Members can earn 1 Aeroplan point per dollar spent on the base time and mileage for their Avis vehicle rentals at participating locations worldwide. And Aeroplan Elite Status Members will earn 2 points per dollar spent on the base time and mileage for their Avis vehicle rentals at participating locations worldwide.

  • The savings of up to 30% applies to Avis PAY NOW rates and is applicable only to the time and mileage charges of the rental.
  • Offer does not apply to car group X.
  • Offer is available for U.S. and Canadian residents only for rentals at participating locations in the U.S. and Canada.
  • Offer may not be used in conjunction with any other AWD number, promotion or offer.
  • Holiday and other blackout periods may apply.
  • A qualifying rental is defined as one vehicle rental per day, per city, for all consecutive days a vehicle is rented - whether or not you renew the rental during those consecutive days.
  • The points per dollar earned are calculated on the time and mileage charges only.
  • All taxes, fees (including but not limited to Air Conditioning Excise Recovery Fee, Concession Recovery Fee, Vehicle License Recovery Fee, Energy Recovery Fee, Tire Management Fee, and Frequent Travel Program Fee) and surcharges (including but not limited to Customer Facility Charge and Environmental Fee Recovery Charge) are extra.
  • Members will earn 1 point per CAD dollar on the time and mileage base rate. Status members will earn 2 points per CAD dollar on the time and mileage base rate. If the rental has a different currency, the time and mileage will be converted into CAD dollars and the number of points will be calculated.
  • Optional products such as LDW and refueling are extra.
  • Taxes, fees, and surcharges may vary depending on the country of rental.
  • Points may not be earned on free, tour or on certain travel industry & AWD rates and may only be earned in one frequent flyer program per rental.
  • An advance reservation is required.
  • Avis Preferred members must mention a valid Aeroplan number at time of reservation or at time of rental to receive points. All other rentals require the mention of a valid Aeroplan number at time of rental to receive Aeroplan points.

  • Renters must meet Avis age, driver and credit requirements. Minimum age may vary by location. An additional daily surcharge may apply for renters under 25 years old.
